First off, I’m Caroline and I’m finishing up my senior year in high school. I’ve been running for about 5 years now and my relationship with it has had its ups and downs. It wasn’t until recently (not-so conveniently towards the end of my last season of high school track) that I began to take it much more seriously. It’s now not only a way for me to stay in shape, but a way for me to unwind and it’s taught me how much I actually love to see how much farther I can push myself everyday.
With my love for running came a love for
food fuel . Running has taught me how important it is to give my body exactly what it needs. That’s not saying that I don’t indulge (probably more often than I should…), I’m human! But it’s given me a reason and a will to make a stronger effort to eat right and promote a healthy, happy lifestyle.
